A new track featuring Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green has appeared online – and it’s actually quite good!

The song is titled ‘Nasty’ and was actually recorded a few years ago – long before they both became coaches on The Voice.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Cee Lo Green said:

“Christina’s just like the best to me… We did a song together, a few years ago. It actually was supposed to make the Burlesque soundtrack, but it didn’t make it. I’ve been seeing people tweeting about it lately, so I guess they’re going to release it.”

What do you think of the track? It’s got a ‘Back to Basics’ Christina feel to it which isn’t a bad thing!!

The account looks slightly strange as you can see from the picture below… However, it has been verified by Twitter themselves so it’s obviously genuine.

Uh oh… this is one mommy you thought this would never happen to.

Christina Aguilera has been arrested in West Hollywood for public intoxication.

TMZ is claiming that she was arrested on a misdemeanour charge at 2.45am. Her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sources say that Christina was extremely intoxicated and “unable to take care of herself”. They added, “If the driver had not been arrested for DUI, Christina would have never been in trouble.”

Not good! This seems so out of character for Christina… But apparently friends close to her have been trying to get her into a rehab programme for weeks.

Either she is on a downward spiral or is in need of some publicity… Lindsay Lohan style!!!

UPDATE

Christina apparently had two bottles of wine to herself before she was arrested.

Whilst she and her boyfriend were at a restaurant, someone wanted to send over a drink to her. However, the server told that person that Christina was already drinking a bottle of wine or two.

As you have probably heard by now, Christina fluffed her words a little when she sang the National anthem at the NFL Super Bowl 2011.

She may have messed up a little, but she didn’t let it bother her one bit! Such a professional!

To apologise to any American’s that she may have offended, she has released the following statement:

“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”

At least she was looking better than when she appeared on The X Factor in December. She seems to have lost some of those pounds that she gained since announcing her divorce.

Some nude/racy photos of Christina Aguilera have been released.

Pictures of her in the same room have also been shown to prove authenticity I guess.

FYI… I wouldn’t suggest viewing these at work!

In one picture I think she is wearing a costume from the ‘Not Myself Tonight’ video. Saucy!

Sorry to keep harping on about The X Factor – but it is at the forefront of all media at the moment and there is a lot of interest…

Anyway, The X Factor has secured some pretty amazing performances for the next few weeks… And I would imagine this will continue throughout the rest of the series.

Katy Perry is due to perform her new single ‘Firework’ on this weeks result show – alongside Diana Vickers who will perform her new single ‘My Wicked Heart’.

Rihanna will perform her new single ‘Only Girl’ the following week – alongside X Factor judge and overrated woman of the decade Cheryl Cole who will perform her song ‘Promise This’.

Christina Aguilera is also set to perform at some point, although a date has not yet been set. It will probably coincide with her new movie ‘Burlesque’ which also stars musical legend Cher.

So it sounds like we have an exciting few weeks ahead! Who would you like to see on The X Factor? It’s a shame Britney isn’t releasing any new music before Christmas as it would be great to see her again. She performed ‘Womanizer’ when she appeared on the show.

I’m predicting that Pink could make an appearance and perform her new single ‘Raise Your Glass’…

Christina Aguilera has confirmed rumours that she and her husband of 5 years, Jordan Bratman, have separated.

She says:

“Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”

Glad that they are keeping it together for their child! It doesn’t actually seem that long ago since they got married. 5 years has flown by!!

So, Christina Aguilera’s new album ‘Bionic’ is out now.

I am tempted to buy, but think I’m going to listen to the previews a few more times before I make a decision. Still not 100% sure if it’s worth me spending £9.99 on iTunes.

Currently it is number one in the UK iTunes chart, but that could all change by the time of the official charts on Sunday!
