Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has got engaged to her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane.

Tom did the deed on New Year’s Day on a romantic holiday in the Maldives. Obviously, Sarah said yes.

She texted her closted friends saying she was “buzzing” about getting married.

A ‘source’ told The Sun:

“Their relationship has gone from strength to strength since they moved in together. They are inseparable. Tom has shelled out on a big sparkler to let everyone know she’s now taken.”

Sarah’s spokesman has confirmed that the pair are engaged, but also said that no wedding date has been set.

Congratulations!! What a great way to start the New Year!

From reading her upcoming interview with Company fashion magazine, Nicola Roberts inadvertently disses band mate Nadine Coyle.

When asked whether or not she sees the rest of Girls Aloud outside of work, Nicola replied:

“Oh God, yeah, Cheryl and Kimberley are like my sisters. But we don’t get to see Sarah as much as we’d like because she lives in Buckinghamshire. As soon as we’re together, it’s like we’ve never been apart…”

Roberts also talks about the last time they saw each other. She says:

“We get together every week. If it’s been more than a couple of weeks since we’ve seen each other, I’ll get a text from one of them saying “I miss you”. Me and Kimberley went to The X Factor to support Cheryl a couple of weeks ago…”

Collette Lyons, who carried out the interview, states that she was pre-warned not to mention Nadine’s name during the interview.

What gives? This makes me sad how Nadine has just simply been left out.

According to Nadine Coyle anyway!

In a recent interview with i-D Magazine, Nadine admitted that the budget for Girls Aloud hairstyles went “through the roof.”

She added:

“Between the five of us the hair budget alone was enough to feed a small country. It was through the roof! I think we bought our hairdresser an entire extension on the back of her house on one album campaign. If she wasn’t driving a Bentley then she should have been.”

Their hairdresser was quite clearly one lucky lady.

It costs to look that amazing 24-7!!

Nadine will be performing at Key 103′s Jingle Ball 2010 at the Manchester MEN Arena on Wednesday (1st December).

Girls Aloud have snubbed fellow band mate Nadine Coyle yet again by not inviting her to see other band mate Cheryl perform her single ‘Promise This’ on The X Factor this weekend.

She says:

“I didn’t know it was happening,” she said. “I didn’t even know about it. But it’s fine, really it is.”

Nadine also claimed that she would like to meet up with her bandmates this week. “I really want to see them this week. Fingers crossed, I’m hoping we can.”

Poor Nadine, I really feel sorry for her. She is getting all this bad press when she’s the one being left out!

Well, she’s already pretty big considering she’s a part of Girls Aloud – but she could have played the role of Emma Frost in X Men: First Class.

She told OK! Magazine:

“I got called back three times for X-Men but I missed out on the part to January Jones, which was fine – she’s a more established actress – but I was pleased to have got that far down the line.”

She also said that she has received offers for other movie roles, but is waiting for the right script to come along.

Glad to hear that she’s actually attempting to find work… Let’s hope she gets something soon, as I don’t think Girls Aloud will be back together for at least another year…

Apparently, Nadine was being considered to perform on The X Factor at some point but MTV are saying that X Factor producers want to get more famous singers. Or maybe because Cheryl doesn’t want her on??

A source says:

“The X Factor wants only the biggest names and stars to perform. This is a show which gets up to 20 million viewers watching every week, the show doesn’t need third-rate performers and flop acts.”

I’m sorry, but Nadine is not a third rate performer or a flop act. She is the main voice of Girls Aloud, and I doubt the group would have been as successful without her. Are they trying to say that Cheryl is a top performer? Maybe if she could sing then she would be!

This whole rivalry that has been created about Nadine and Cheryl annoys me. Supposedly they haven’t been in contact for a long time and its being made out that it’s all Nadine’s fault. But doesn’t it take two to tango – as the saying goes?

Cheryl just needs to go away for a few months and let Nadine have a bit of the spotlight like she deserves!

In an interview with Closer Magazine, Nadine Coyle claims that she’s angered over comments about her being too thin.

She says, “I am totally happy with my weight. I’m not unhealthy at all! Why don’t they just leave me alone?”

A bullsh*t source has told the magazine that her family are considering an intervention in order for her to get professional help if he weight continues to drop.

She has apparently lost 10lbs in two months and now weighs 7st 2lbs. For the record as well, she is 24 years old and 5ft 6 tall.

Fair enough she is very skinny, but aren’t most celebrities? Cut her some slack! If she wasn’t healthy then she wouldn’t be able to work…. And by the sound of things, she’s working VERY hard!!

The ongoing feud between Cheryl Cole and Charlotte Church won’t stop anytime soon!

According to The Sun newspaper, Cheryl was going to apologise and stop feuding with Charlotte in Girls Aloud’s new autobiography, but then Charlotte called Girls Aloud 5 dogs without balls, on her Channel 4 chatshow. Cheryl immediatley called up the publishers and had them remove the part she wrote about Charlotte.

I can’t choose which side to be on. I love Cheryl and the rest of Girls Aloud, but I also find Charlotte Church brilliant on her tv show!

If you ever get a chance to go and see Girls Aloud then go for it! Last weekend I went to see them for the third time in their last performace of their current tour at Harewood House, Leeds. I was not disspointed, and neither were the rest of the crowd!

There’s no argument about it, Girls Aloud are pop royalty! They come out with some amazing stuff!
