This could be interesting!

Eminem has reportedly been selected to open the MTV VMA 2010 ceremony this weekend. MTV’s general manager Stephen Friedman says:

“We thought that there’s no better way to kick off the show than [with] a performance from Eminem,”

Eminem is nominated for a whopping 8 awards this year. This is no surprise since his album ‘Recovery’ has performed AMAZINGLY. I wonder if he will win any of them?

The VMA’s will take place in Los Angeles this year, instead of the usual location of New York.

MTV always puts on a great show for the VMAs. It’s actually my favourite award show to watch on MTV. The Movie Awards etc are always boring compared. Always so much drama to be had at the VMAs!!

Well, if you are/were a fan of The Hills on MTV you will be pleased.

Apparently lots of TV networks in the US are fighting over her for a brand new reality TV show.

Lauren Conrad hasn’t actually confirmed the story yet, but she has previously said:

“The only way I’d return to reality TV would be if it allowed me to decide when the cameras stop.”

Cool. But do people want to see Lauren Conrad anymore? I guess the TV networks think they do!!

Did anybody watch the MTV EMA awards on Thursday 6th November?

They were OK. Performances were great, Katy Perry was OK, but the show itself lacked the fun that MTV awards usually have.

Oh and whoever hired Jared Leto (30 Seconds To Mars) should be sacked! He sort of co-hosted the event. Funny? No! Rubbish? Yes!

MTV also need to realise that it’s the EUROPE Music Awards. I’m all for Britney winning (I might be a bit biased actually), but the show was basically dominated by US acts.

I guess British acts like Coldplay really are over rated. No wonder they didn’t win anything…

Wow! The VMA’s aired in the UK on Monday and they didn’t fail to entertain. They were pretty awesome!

Firstly, I thought Britney totally rocked what she did and what she wore! She looks absolutley stunning! So glad that she won the 3 awards she was nominated for.

Rihanna’s opening performance of Disturbia also made the show start with a bang! Her vocals aren’t amazing, but she pulls it off by doing a great performance overall! Loved the whole set and routine!

Loved What Miley Cyrus wore, but wasn’t too keen on how they made her introduce Pink’s performance of new single, So What. By the way, Pink was also amazing haha!

What else? Urm, Paris Hilton looked gorgeous! I loved how she looked at the wrong camera at first. She handled herself like a true pro aswell! Lindsay Lohan was rockin’ the stage aswell!

I think you will also agree that Christina Aguilera’s performance of her new single, Keeps Getting Better also rocked the house. It definatley kept getting better, I just wish she would have sung live! We all know she can!

All in all, the VMAs were brilliant, and they have the viewing figures to prove it! Although, I don’t think people really got Russell Brand, and maybe he went too far???
