Yay, this can only be a good thing can’t it?

The Sun is reporting that Simon Cowell has returned to the UK for talks about this year’s X Factor judging panel. Let’s face it, they need to get a move on. Contestant auditions with producers are starting next week!!

Simon still has not decided whether he will appear on both the US and UK editions of the show, meaning ITV bosses are getting into a panic due to the delay in confirming the judges.

A source says:

“Simon is cutting it really fine. ITV are desperate for some concrete news. All this dithering is seeing them break out in cold sweats. Simon’s focus is on the US series, which has nothing to do with ITV. They don’t even know if he will be back on the show – at the moment they are thinking he won’t be. He’s back in the UK now and they are hoping to get something from him this week so everyone can sleep at night.”

The Sun are also claiming that Lily Allen has had two meetings regarding joining the judging panel, whilst Robbie Williams has ruled himself out due to his busy schedule.

I don’t think Robbie would have been right for the job anyway!!

Oh no, hopefully not! Supposedly, Simon Cowell will miss the audition round of the 2011 UK series to focus on the forthcoming US version.

The Daily Mail reports that bosses at ITV have offered to pay for a private jet that would fly him back and forth so that he can take part of both shows.
A ‘source’ says:

“Simon’s biggest priority is the US X Factor at the moment – he has got a lot to prove and he has to make it a hit.”

I am still unsure. I think that if Simon Cowell skipped the audition process – a talking point for a lot of people in the UK – it could potentially be quite disasterous…

Now its no secret that Cher Lloyd has been made out to be a bit of a spoilt brat in the press, but Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole have always come to her defence…. After all – those were only rumours!

HOWEVER a video has emerged of Cher being rude to not only the paparazzi, but her FANS as well. Not cool!

There was only a handful of fans waiting, and she could have at least had the decency to say hello and crack a smile. But no, she just waltzed straight through them like she didn’t give a damn.

The group of fans reacted negatively and one even said, ‘Wow, no wonder no one likes her.’

Not a great way to act before the finals now is it?

At an X Factor press conference this afternoon, where all of the judges and remaining contestants appeared, the final duets were confirmed – after speculation all week!

Sounds like it is going to be a fantastic X Factor weekend!!

I predict that Matt Cardle will win… BUT I would love it if Cher Lloyd took the crown – simply because I think her style of music is ‘right up my street’ (as Cheryl Cole would say).

It was also confirmed that each finalist would have their own ‘winning song’ unlike previous years where they all recorded the same song.

Sadly, Aiden Grimshaw became the latest X Factor contestant to be eliminated from the show.

God damn Katie Waissel got through yet again, despite this being her 4th time in the bottom 2. Even though the final vote went to the public, Aiden should NOT have left the competition!

Upon hearing the news, it was obvious that Aiden was devastated – and I think most people would agree, we all just wanted to give him a massive hug.
He said: “You win some you lose some…” and added that he was going to drink a beer.

He also mentioned that a friend text him before the show warned him about a leak on Twitter of the bottom 3 so he was expecting it..

Poor Aiden.

I hope that Katie realises that she’d probably gonna get attacked by some people when she finally does get the boot. Not likeable ONE BIT!!!

ITV has signed a brand new 3 year deal with The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

They have also secured the rights to air the American version of The X Factor on ITV2 – alongside America’s Got Talent.

It is still unconfirmed as to whether Simon Cowell will stay with the UK version of the show or just do the American version after The X Factor’s current series.

I’m sure I don’t have to remind people what went down this weekend on X Factor.

On Saturday, the longest episode EVER (or so it felt) was on, and had 14 performances from 14 contestants.

Mary rocked it. Aiden rocked it. One Direction almost rocked it. Cher almost rocked it. And Katie looked like a tit.

On Sunday, Usher and Joe McElderry both performed. Unfortunately Usher mimed through most of his performance… But I’ll let it slide since his entrance and dance moves were pretty cool.

Joe McElderry on the other hand was just amazing in all ways and performed his first single since winning last years show, Ambitions. He looked as though he’d been doing it for years! Such little popstar!

Sunday also saw a double elimination… FYD, Katie and Nicolo were in the bottom 3.

I’m actually shocked to even say this, but Nicolo was first out with the fewest votes. I seriously thought he’d be in for a lot longer. I really feel sorry for him. FYD were the second act to be eliminated.

In my opinion, Katie and FYD should have gone home. Nicolo deserved to stay! What do you think?

X Factor’s Nicolo Festa and Aiden Grimshaw have posted some pictures of themselves on Twitter having some fun before the live shows begin tomorrow night!

It’s good to see that they have found some time to hang out and not just rehearse ALL of the time!

Nicolo confirmed that a Twitter account set up under Aiden’s name was in fact a fake, but later welcomed Aiden’s real account to the social networking site.

Do you think Nicolo and Aiden are safe for the first few live shows? I think they will be fine. They are on Team Dannii after all!

Well I’m not sure what she’ll be doing, but she tweeted about it earlier this evening. Unfortunately I did not get a screenshot of her tweet and she soon deleted it.

She was meant to send a direct message to a friend. It read something along the lines of: “Come to X Factor with me on Saturday. I’ll look after you and your bf”

A couple of minutes later she said: ‘Oops……….MY BAD!!!!! “I” won’t tell you guys what that sound like!!!!’

I wonder why she is going to be at The X Factor on Saturday? Interesting!! Although I very much doubt that it will be a performance, but I could be wrong.
