Well this is sad… ITV have announced that James Sutton, who plays Ryan Lamb in the popular soap, will be leaving this Spring.

During his time on the soap, his character has dealt with murder, incest and a prison sentence for something he didn’t do… Pretty intense!

James says:

“I’ve massively enjoyed the last two years playing Ryan and been blessed to have worked with a group of such talented and supportive actors. I feel that Ryan’s storylines have drawn to a natural conclusion and although I’ll be sad to say goodbye, I’m excited about what the future holds.Having trained in theatre I’m looking forward to getting back to my roots and exploring new opportunities.”

Rumours have been around for a few weeks that Channel 4′s Hollyoaks is about to be axed.

Those rumours have since been quashed…

However, a show insider has revealed that fans can expect an announcement in the next few weeks regarding the shows’ future.

By the way, in case you were wondering… There is no future. Hollyoaks is going to be axed!

Coronation Street is my favourite soap, and it looks like this episode will not dissapoint…

From the look of things, Mollie will definitely die – along with baby Jack.

Shame on British TV presenter Phillip Schofield!

During the British Soap Awards (which he was presenting with Fearne Britton) he made fun of Antony Cotton’s gay character in Coronation Street!

He referred to somebodies catchphrase saying “I’m out, I’m out”, followed by, “No it’s not you Sean Tully!” (Sean Tully is the character that Antony Cotton plays)

Damn shame on you Phillip. Even if it was a joke!

Tina O’Brien, and Ryan Thomas (from Coronation Street) are expecting their first child!

A Coronation Street spokeswoman said: “Ryan and Tina can confirm they are expecting a baby and are absolutely delighted at the happy news.”

Coronation Street is one of my favourite soaps, and at the moment there are some brilliant story lines.

David Platt (Gail Platt’s pyscho son) is set to push Gail down the stairs and leave her for dead when he finds out that she took his girlfriend (Tina – who is amazing) for an abortion. Poor Gail, she was only trying to help and support Tina.

In other Coronation Street news, Samia Smith (who plays Maria Connor) has revealed that she wants bigger boobs because of having to wear ‘chicken fillets’ whilst being pregnant in the show.

She said she would consider surgery, but would be very scared to go through with it.

I think she’s perfect the way she is!!
