She made the announcement via her official Twitter account earlier today:

most people want the bad news first, well it’s not really bad news

bad news – the next series of the hotel inspector will be my last

good news – we have SEVEN episodes next series and a further THREE specials when the hotel inspector goes abroad!!!

to the people asking, I wasn’t bloody sacked or getting replaced by someone else, I’m leaving because I chose to

I have some more television work in the pipeline but can’t reveal much more

and I wanted to have more time for me and my family, there’s still another ten episodes to come in spring 2011

This is extremely sad news for fans of the show. Alex has really had her mark on it and will be missed. At least we have ANOTHER series to look forward to!!

Let us hope that if Channel 5 do decide to carry on with the show, they pick someone worthy of filling Alex’s shoes!

Well today, we have an official preview of Nadine Coyle’s brand new single ‘Insatiable’ for you to listen to.

The track has a very strong 80s influence, and it comes from Coyle’s upcoming debut solo album of the same title.

The single is released on 1st November 2010, and the album follows a week later on the 8th November 2010.

It is being sold exclusively in Tesco stores – meaning Nadine has had 100% input into the album. She hasn’t been forced to follow what a record company tells her to do etc.

Hopefully the deal with Tesco will work out. It kind of sucks that you won’t be able to buy it anywhere else, but if she has the fan base that will get her a smash hit album then it will be great!

This is very sad news due to the fact that they have released 3 brilliant songs in which 2 have majorly flopped in the UK charts… ‘I Wish’ reached number 73, whilst ‘One Touch’ reached number 114… Both a huge drop from number 7, which their first single ‘Left My Heart In Tokyo’ peaked.

From following them closely via Twitter, I wouldn’t blame the girls… I would blame their sorry excuse for a management team. Whoever managed their schedules should NOT be in a job right now. There have been so many missed opportunities for the girls, and their management screwed it up big time.

Since ‘One Touch’ was released, it’s unclear as to whether Frankee and Britt have actually met up, or whether they’ve even spoken to their label.

The source mentions that it is “very unlikely” that an album will be released. Although, “it may be released via download only for the hard core fans that the girls do have.”

Well, let’s hope that we at least get an album from the girls – and soon!. They have worked very hard, and it’s just a real shame that they were marketed in the completely wrong way.

Broadband providers are notorious for advertising speeds faster than they can actually provide their customers so what gives?!

I just completed the speed test. You can do so by clicking here. My results are absolutely shocking. I went on other speed test sites to actually see if the results were accurate and they are.

My flatmate and I are paying for 8mpbs broadband (its the cheapest package by PlusNet), but we are actually getting download and upload speeds LESS than 1mbps. Completely ridiculous! We were contemplating upgrading, but I don’t think it would make too much difference. I refuse to give a company more money when they can’t even deliver basic speeds.

I have sent them the statistics via Twitter, but no doubt I will get a generic response saying that all is fine at their end…. Yeah – sure it is!

One thing I have learnt over the past few months…. Telephone and internet providers are completely rubbish – I’m looking at you, BT & PlusNet!!!

Anyway, a Devon TEENAGER went to one of her book signings for her new novel ‘Paradise’ and when she asked him what he wanted her to write he didn’t know. Katie wrote a light hearted comment saying: “To Jack and wet dreams. Jordan”.

Personally I don’t see what is wrong with that.

Katie also said to him, “Are you staring at my t*ts?” Apparently the boy went completely red.

Basically he has gone to The Sun newspaper (where else?!) and is saying that he is very upset etc.

No offence Jack McBirney (the boy in question), but you are a teenager now… Not a child… And if you are a fan of Katie’s then you’ll have noticed that she is always joking about and being quite rude. It’s what people love her for.

Now we all know that Paris Hilton is up sh*t creek after being charged with cocaine possession, but apparently this is not the first time she has had drugs on her (that we know of).

The ‘friend’ says:

“That’s why the first thing she asked the cops in Vegas was to use the bathroom. She knew it would be her only chance to hide the cocaine and avoid arrest. Paris is not as dumb as she seems.

“She’s one of the most clever and manipulative people one can ever meet. And she thinks quick, just like she did in Vegas. She has cat like reflexes.”

The source adds that Paris smuggles drugs in a lubricated condom before hiding it in her vagina when she has to go through airport security.

“That’s what I’ve heard from a very good source, she’s a pro at it. Paris travels all over the world and parties like a rockstar. I love her but she definitely needs professional help. It’s time she looks at herself in the mirror and realizes she’s not 21 anymore.”

Does anyone believe this guy/girl? I personally do not want to, but I suppose it is quite a, erm, innovative way of doing things????

Rihanna’s most recent album ‘Rated R’ performed quite well on the charts, and is still selling now – but it was in no way as big as her previous album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’.

A new single and album have been announced, but no major details were released. The first single ‘Only Girl’ was rumoured to be released to radio stations TODAY… but Rihanna’s record label have since tweeted that no official date was ever revealed, and that sadly we will not be hearing any new music today :-(

There has been a bit of confusion as to what her new single actually is… Perez Hilton stated that the song would be called ‘Cheers’, so God knows what is correct!

I guess we will all just have to sit back and WAIT!!
