For my first story in a long time I have to give it up to Britney Spears!

I’m so excited! She is confirmed as the opening act for this years MTV VMA Awards. And it’s not just been confirmed by gossip magazines or whatever, it’s actually been confirmed by MTV Networks Music Group president, Van Toffler. She will apparently do something “fun and unexpected” so launch the show.

This is great news! Especially when Britney’s manager recently denied claims of her performing.

I for one am so so so so so SO excited about seeing her. I’m hoping she blows minds!
