Rihanna’s new single delayed

Well, this is rather disappointing… Even though there was no official release date set, Rihanna’s new single has reportedly been pushed back.

Rihanna’s most recent album ‘Rated R’ performed quite well on the charts, and is still selling now – but it was in no way as big as her previous album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’.

A new single and album have been announced, but no major details were released. The first single ‘Only Girl’ was rumoured to be released to radio stations TODAY… but Rihanna’s record label have since tweeted that no official date was ever revealed, and that sadly we will not be hearing any new music today

There has been a bit of confusion as to what her new single actually is… Perez Hilton stated that the song would be called ‘Cheers’, so God knows what is correct!

I guess we will all just have to sit back and WAIT!!

Rihanna has tweeted the following to Ryan Seacrest: @RyanSeacrest Soon! In less than 10 dayz ima send u sumn special, and ur gonna play it OVER and OVER, like I’m the only girl in the world!

Does that mean the new single is ‘Only Girl’?? Exciting!!
