The Saturdays Album Signing: HMV Manchester Arndale

Today I met The Saturdays. Actually, it was only three of them – as Frankie and Vanessa are ill, sadly!

I was in the queue outside Manchester’s Arndale Centre for about 2 hours, but it seemed to fly by actually.

I loved meeting the girls (from left: Mollie King, Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman). All three of them were extremely polite with Mollie saying, “Thank you so much for coming down!” However, I was a little gutted that we were only allowed to take pictures of the girls and not with them…

…I blame the tw*t who hit Leona Lewis at a signing back in October 2009. Since then, stars such as Katie Price have said how they used to take pictures with fans until this happened.

As music fans, we need to let the artists/bands know that they CAN trust us not to hurt them. All we want is an innocent smiley picture.



Anyway, everyone needs to get down to their local music retailer, or online download store and get The Saturdays brand new album, ‘Headlines’. It’s a great listen – but my one criticism is that its just a bit too short!
